General Practitioner, CEO and Medical Director
Dr Aifric Boylan is a Melbourne general practitioner with more than 20 years' experience and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She graduated in medicine from Trinity College Dublin in 2002 and holds fellowships of both the Irish and Royal Australian Colleges of General Practitioners. She continues to practise part-time as a family doctor.
Two decades in general practice have meant caring for patients of all ages and from a wide range of backgrounds, with sexual and reproductive health a core part of that work: STI testing, contraception and cervical screening. Her particular interest is women's health, supported by her Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She is a member of the RACGP Specific Interests Sexual and Reproductive Health group.
In 2016 she co-founded Qoctor, one of Australia's first doctor-owned and doctor-led telehealth services. As CEO and Medical Director she is responsible for its clinical governance, including clinical protocols, credentialing of the medical team, and medical review of published health information. Qoctor's doctors have delivered more than 700,000 consultations.
